Cafe Brazil has 11 unique locations. Each store has different architectural characteristics and a staff that give it a flavor all its own.
MEET: DEEP ELLUM
Cafe Brazil opened our Deep Ellum location in 1994. Over the past 20 years, the neighborhood has been mostly comprised of live music venues and bars, which has always provided a great compliment for our late night dining and coffee bar environment.
“There is a strong community bond in Deep Ellum that is special and endearing,” says General Manager, Rebecca Cunningham, “Cafe Brazil has formed strong friendships and ties within the community. It truly feels like we’re part of a family that is made up of local businesses, friends, families and residents. It just seems to be a match made in heaven: an eclectic concept that found a home in an eclectic community. “
The Deep Ellum location houses Cafe Brazil’s Bakery where our amazing desserts, pastries, homemade Breads and Empanadas are created treating everyone that walks through our doors to amazing aromas when you enter the store.
Café Brazil CEO, Brant Wood says, “We feel strongly that Deep Ellum is a core location to our concept and a big part of what Café Brazil is and has always been. We made the decision to weather a difficult financial storm for several years with the hope that someday Deep Ellum would return to the vibrant community it had been. It is important to us as a company to continue to be a mainstay in the area.”
With the onslaught of new restaurants and bars that have entered the neighborhood over the last 12 months, it looks like a good gamble that Café Brazil has made to remain in Deep Ellum.
